Tears, Jeers and Cheers - Send Us Your Thoughts On The World Cup So Far

We're nearing the end of the Group stages of the 2014 Brazilian World Cup and thus far it's been quite the tournament, full of drama, spectacle and just a wee bit of attempted cannibalism.

England have already exited the stage and are on their way back to Blighty, but they're aren't the only footballing superpower to fall at the first hurdle - Italy, Portugal (kinda) and Spain have also come undone and will be exiting the tournament early.

There's been plenty of drama as well, with the biggest talking point being Suarez's strange decision to take a bite out of Italian defender Chiellini. The story took an even stranger turn a few days ago when Uruguayan TV attacked the British press, claiming they're at the centre of a conspiracy seeking to discredit the striker. Sounds plausible to us!

What's been your favourite moment of the tournament so far? Let us know below.

Our vote goes to Van Persie's spectacular headed goal during the Netherland's shock 5-1 victory over reigning champs Spain. Magic.
